Acorn Wood Floors

We had a quote for new replacement floors (not even wood) and then had a quote from Acorn to repair very old oak floor, repair bad squeaks, replace wood in damaged areas and refinish the existing wood. It was half the price of a new floor and looks fabulous. We have retained the look of the 1955 house including the striped edging that was popular in the day. The crew were on time and cleaned up with very little dust in the remainder of the house. Everyone I dealt with was professional and accomodating to our situation. I would highly recommend them if you want to keep your old wood floors.

The floor was badly pitted from previous owners dogs as well as deep gouges from a chair.
The floor looks like new. To our surprise, there was almost no dust.

Adding new wood to a room we had enlarged, then sanding and finishing the whole room.

Especially thankful for the extraordinary prep work of removing our old 5 layers of kitchen flooring before installing this extremely durable floor for our heavy footed high traffic area. Can’t begin to say how pleased we are and especially how well matched this material is next to our living room hardwood that you installed many years ago.

We had 2 levels of flooring done including staircase. Also a games room with custom halfmoon step which made the room more attractive.

I wanted to retain the old look of European marble tile floor in powder & laundry room which was previously Linoleum.
Ron designed the diamond shape of black & white karndean tile with white borders & light coloured vinyl karndean strips to resemble grout. He installed personally, since it was an unique design for his company. I am so impressed how meticulous he was to maintain the pattern - even including a minuscule corner of black - literally 1 cm in depth.
