A1 Windows

I'm completely satisfied with the price, installation and the product that I received from A1 Windows for a retrofit of the original aluminum windows with triple-glazed vinyl windows in a wood-frame apartment building.

Salesman Robert advised me fully and expertly on the different options and at all times tried to give me best value for my money. At the building, he advised me on the best way to split the windows for ventilation and fire safety while taking my concerns about appearance into account. After I had accepted the quote and had paid the deposit, Robert went over the measurements again and discovered that I had slightly over-estimated the size of the window openings. He recalculated the quote, thus saving me over $5,000. I am very grateful to him and very impressed with his professionalism and honesty.

The A1 crew did a beautiful job on the installation, which they completed in a clean and efficient manner, taking care to protect the floors of the areas they were working in. The lead installer, Said, is very experienced, took care of all concerns and was pleasant to work with.

It was a great challenge to schedule the installation over several weeks but the installation coordinator Manjeet was very patient and worked hard to accommodate my tenants.

As for the windows themselves, both the tenants and I are delighted. This is a very high-quality product. Aside from making a drastic difference in terms of heat loss, the windows offer maximum protection against solar gain and also drastically reduce street noise. Among the windows that were replaced were a few double-glazed vinyl windows that were about twenty years old. The A1 product is vastly superior to these, most obviously in terms of the thinness of the frames, which results in notably more glass area.
