Back flow valve installation and city tie in.

We purchased a 100 year old home in Mimico, and knew there would be some issues. The house had endured a flip attempt, so the wiring, plumbing and structure was pretty much a dogs breakfast.
When the toilet just stopped flushing, I called Roto Rooter, and even though the city was crazy busy, he was at my door in a couple hours. He went straight for the clean-out with his scope, and within 20 minutes of arrival, was showing us live video footage of a collapsed drain section, just beyond the foundation.
He quickly developed a work order, and initiated a city permit to get the access hole dug.
Within 48hours, a crew was digging an 10' deep hole to gain access to the collapsed pipe, whwre they would install a new backflow and inspection port, a few hours later.
The bill was around $3K, but the technician also helped us apply for a $1500 city rebate, and arranged the building inspector to view the work. The hole was filled, leveled and our plants replaced, and the crews were very polite.
This is a well managed company, with knowledgable staff who are happy, and proud of their work.
They'll be doing our bathroom retrofits based on this, and I'm not even going to blink at the cost, as I know it will be a fair quote for a job done well.
Thanks fells, great job!
