This project was adding 2 rooms on to a ranch style home and turning one existing room into a hallway and a walk in closet. The work was mostly sub-contracted out to others and ran behind schedule. The project was completed about 30 days behind schedule. It started out with the wrong size trusses being delivered and they wanted to redesign the addition to fit the existing trusses instead of getting the proper ones. The over all quality of the work was acceptable but details like matching the ceiling style and putting trim in the closet were neglected. Also I felt I had to check and follow up on things to ensure they got done. One example is there was a gap between the existing house and the addition that they felt could just be covered by carpeting and trim that I wanted filled in to keep insects and rodents from being able to use it as an entry point to the home.
