Approx 10 sq ft of disturbed asbestos found in Basement. My wife was pregnant and we have a three year old child. Of course I panicked and used the first contractor that the lab (Brooks Laboratories) where I had the sample tested recommended.
I was quoted $5k which became nearly $6k after they had "finished". I had to get them back the next week as there was some loose Abestos on the basement floor and in some boxes. Baby Gate on basement door was damaged as was the frame.
I sent a few Emails about the damage and never had a reply about this matter.
