Disconnecting a water softener

My husband had worked all day trying to disconnect the water softener, the water was turned off and he wasn't meeting much success. When I got home from work, I was concerned about the water being off. It was around 4:00 p.m. He called Stephen's and told them it was an emergency. They came within an hour to an hour and a half. Within a very short time, our water was back on and the softener disconnected. My husband learned a big lesson, and I could make supper.
