Totally pleased with finally getting that second full bathroom after waiting 27 years and 3 kids growing up doing the bathroom shuffle.Mark, along with his dry sense of humour and a great crew did a super job of my basement bathroom and first real home reno,along with a few much appreciated extras.Thanks guys for your hard work through what I know must have been a very hectic schedule.

Mark and his team were truly accommodating and professional at all times. I have a hectic schedule and a special needs dog and Mark went above and beyond to work around challenges. We recently had the pleasure of working with Mark Wilson of Chermark Renovations. We contracted Mark to renovate the basement in our 60 year old home that had prior flood damage, to update our original 60 year old kitchen and to update the electrical service and rewire the entire home. Before he even started, Mark made several suggestions and recommendations that we had not even thought of, the result was amazing. Better than either of us had imagined. In the basement, he took a dark, dank, uninviting space and turned it into a beautiful, clean, comfortable, usable space. The kitchen is equally impressive. All of the professionals Mark brought in for their expertise were consummate professionals, polite, friendly and accommodating. Chermark Renovations renovated our bathroom and miraculously turned it from an embarrassing eye sore into an exquisite spa. Mark was a joy to work with, had a great sense of humor and was respectful toward all members of our family. His work exceeded our expectations. He had innovative ideas and was flexible with our plan. Mark is a very skilled and knowledgeable tradesman with a strong work ethic. He demonstrated excellent attention to detail and a high standard for his work. Mark was well organized. He completed the project within his original quote and also threw in some unexpected and much appreciated extras like filling in a hole made by our TV installer and replacing our broken front door handle. I will certainly call upon Mark for any further work we have done in our home.

We desired to convert an existing bathroom to an upstairs laundry room to make better use of the space. Mark was very professional from the moment we met him. He is likely the only contractor I will ever meet who suggested that we try to do it ourselves to save money. We realized that that wasn't an option for us for a number of reasons and pressed forward with the renovation.

The job was done on time, for the estimated cost that was provided and in an impressive manner that took into account the family schedule. I was very impressed with how clean the work area was kept daily and the lack of intrusion for the family. Mark also pointed out a number of future issues we would need to deal with in our home but never once pressured us to let him do the work.

While not the most elaborate of jobs, Chermark took great pride in the finished product and we have received many compilments on the new room from critical family and friends. As one family member noted, you can tell that Chermark takes great pride in their craft.

I would have no hesitation considering Chermark for future projects or recommending them to others.

Mark and his partner John took horrible sliding doors that went from ceiling to floor and converted them into normal height doors. The coat closet is now a beautiful sliding glass double door on tracks, with dark wood trim (door from Rona) and good sized trim painted white, to match the baseboards, all around that door. The linen closet door, previously another floor to ceiling sliding door, was converting into a 6-panel bi-fold door, and as the opening was 38" wide, they framed the opening to accommodate a 36" door. Trim matches all the other doors in the long hallay. They turned two sows' ears into silk purses. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. And they are so easy to work with, making small changes when requested, seeing what we hadn't realized needed to be taken into account, etc. We'd recommend them to anyone who wants pleasant, reliable contractors doing a good job!

We had Mark install mirror doors in our hall closet,move a electric plug , drywall and mud and paint. We are very happy with the result.
He also framed and drywall a linen closet and installed bifold door, the end results were a great addition to our home.
