We hired Oborne to convert a basement apartment to a functional space for our growing family. John impressed us from the beginning with his ideas for the space such as removing the existing washroom rather than revamp it due to its small size and convert the existing kitchen into a washroom/laundry room combo. We were also provided with about 50 references which gave us a solid understanding of Oborne and the quality of their work before making our decision.
When it came to the project itself John was very through in his breakdown of the work to be done, timelines and cost to ensure that we were all on the same page throughout the renovation process. We also appreciated the fact that we were provided with a project manager and foreman on site who ensured that the project when smoothly and answered any questions/issues that arose. All of the sub-contractors brought in were also very professional and courteous.
You also always wonder what will happen once the work is complete. The other day we contacted John regarding an item a few months after the completion of the project and he was quick to respond to our call and help us determine a solution.
