Viceroy Homes A & R Carpentry

I am writing this review to let the consumers know to not be fooled by A and R carpentry. I signed the deal with Rene jr and Rene senior and spent a lot of money with them to get a job well done. I was shocked by there craftsmanship and workers that they use. A and R carpentry hires the cheapest contractors they can find to put more money in their pockets. I’ll make this short and sweet because Tarion home owners insurance has called a meeting with both parties to resolve the situation. 1) master bathroom tiles had to be completely redone 3 separate times because the job was so badly done. Tiles so uneven, tiles not lined up. Huge gaps and they tried to cover it up with grout. Shower sliding door isn’t even installed properly. When door is closed water go all over the floor because it’s not even close to a good seal. HUGE SAFETY HAZARD!! 2) $20,000 in gable work not completed and Rene senior won’t finish job and that is why Tarion is involved now. 3) siding on cottage improperly installed and already coming off. 4) wood beams were used to level floor when we asked for steel to be used and Rene senior and jr just laughed at us. 5) light fixtures installed not level. 6) wood mantle installed so bad that a pen rolls right off of it. 7) theft was a huge issue on this build regarding his employees 8) construction of cottage was delayed to start and closing was not when it was suppose to.

List goes on and on overall we’re not happy customers and we can’t belive how we have been treated by the owners of A and R carpentry! We work very hard fo our money and we’re so frustrated about this cottage build. Bad businessman and I hope this review makes them smarten up and realize how that this is not how people should be treated.
