Pre contract signing for our kitchen reno was the nicest and reassuring I ever saw of Mike. He had said this project would be 4 weeks...tops! We are now well into the 3rd month with some finishing still to do. The plan was for us to go on vacation so we wouldn't be without our kitchen and the bulk of the project was to be done then while we were gone. We came home to a barely functioning kitchen but it was a mess and we had to clean it. They were only in every second day at best while we were gone. Seems they had taken on more jobs than they could handle. We were not priority to them anymore. Promise after promise of this or that of the job were not fulfilled. Then communication just came to a halt. Delayed or no returned calls or emails to my questions of why they were not in again today to finish. We still owe him money and wonder if I have grounds to not pay him this... but to you all doing your research I am happy you have read this to know to stay away from IronWood and Mike for your renos.

Approximate cost of services:

What could this company do to improve their services?
Communicated with your client and follow through with the plan and your assurances that were given when trying bidding for a client.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Maybe go with only contractors who are members of the BBB.
