Jesse, the head contractor of FX Construction Inc., is the newest gem, waiting to be discovered, in the home reno business. We hired Jesse and his interior design partner, Emmanuel, to redesign and reno the kitchen and second floor bathroom of our new home in Little Italy. After having an incredibly negative experience with another contractor in the recent past, we were wary to work with contractors again. But the experience with Jesse renewed our faith that there are professional, personable, reliable contractors out there, who actually care about the needs of the client as well as the quality of their work. In a nutshell, Jesse works extremely well with Emmanuel. They are the dream combo of the perfect contractor and perfect interior designer. While Emmanuel drew up the plans for our dream kitchen and bathroom, Jesse made sure that he and his team brought those plans to life. Jesse was always communicative and never a prima donna, as some contractors are wont to be. He was always realistic about the scale and scope of our project, informing us of things that might be too expensive (we were working on a smallish budget). He also worked hard to make sure we got the most for our money, and we never felt like he was trying to take advantage of us. Finally, all the sub-trades (electricians, plumbers, HVAC, etc) that Jesse brought in to work on the project were just as personable, friendly, and professional as he was, which was only further indication that Jesse has a bright career ahead of him; because good people like to work with good people. Long story short, you can't go wrong with Jesse and FX Construction. In fact, my wife and I are already looking forward to working with him on our next reno project.
