During a remodel, Sal Romano or Chimino of Black Oak Construction cut through the metal gas pipe leading from the hot water heater into a unit of our triplex. The cut was covered with several layers of black electrical tape. We were not informed of this. We did not find the problem for months when we could not pass a gas leak test required for City inspections. We are very lucky the place didn’t blow up. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS! Do not trust Black Oak Construction or Sal Romano.
