At first we were satisfied with Meridian's work. Then we began to find problems with the windows and the screens. The windows were not sealed properly, made obvious by leaking after a rainfall. Some of the screens began to warp, after only a year. We have tried, time and again, to have Meridian come to our home to resolve the issue -ie: fix the sealing and the warped screens - to no avail. After a number of phone calls, they actually sent two young men who looked at the windows and agreed there were problems and assured us someone would come and fix them. Over a year later and many more calls, we are still waiting. They have made so many excuses. Also -- after the job was done, Igor returned, supposedly shamefaced, and said there was an error on the invoice and that we actually owed them more money. There was no error - it showed the price he quoted us. He had signed it and we had signed it. If he misquoted, unfortunately that was his problem. We are convinced it was a scam and he was prevailing on our good nature. We refused to pay, and this may be the reason they won't return. Doesn't speak, though, to the issue of the problems with the windows. I definitely would not recommend this company (at least in this part of Canada), to ANYONE.
