After shopping at just about every furniture store on the North Shore, we ended up buying our new living room at Macy's. The quality and price were comparable to furniture specialty stores, but the financing (no interest for two years) and delivery (one week) were what sold us.
We purchased tile and stone from Tony's for our kitchen and bathroom renovations, and highly recommend them. Their selection is huge, and their sales people are very knowledgeable. The Italian tile that we put in our kitchen has withstood all kinds of traffic, and has even held up to a few cast iron pans being dropped on it - no cracks, no chips! The tumbled copper slate that we installed in our new shower is not only beautiful but has proven to be nonslippery when wet. We love it!
