Our driveway, along with 4 other driveways on our street, was completed in May 2016 by C Aurora Paving. Unfortunately we were extremely unsatisfied with the final product and the customer service we received. After the driveway was completed, we were advised to wait approximately 3-4 days before parking on it. Being cautious and to protect our investment, we waited 6 days before parking our two vehicles in the driveway. As the driveway began to settle, large holes started to appear in the asphalt and rocks also started to pop through the asphalt. Within a matter of 15 days, there were approximately 13 quarter-sized deep holes throughout our driveway. Tire tread marks also started to appear, despite us taking precautions such as not turning our wheels on the driveway while parking. We also watered the driveway to ensure that the asphalt cured properly. Between May 2016 and June 2016, we contacted Katie the office manager multiple times by email and by phone to find out when the situation would be rectified since there was a two year guarantee on the driveway. After constantly following up with Katie (because we often did not receive a reply), Roy was sent out in mid-June to inspect the damage and assured us that he would arrange to have the driveway fixed in the early fall. After following up with Katie an additional 4 times, she assured us that the driveway would be repaired in September and that they would notify us when it would be completed so that we could be home. September and October flew by and we still did not receive any confirmation about a repair date. In November 2016, our neighbour notified us that the Aurora crew arrived unannounced at our house to complete the repairs. Again we were very disappointed. The damage that we pointed out to Roy in June 2016 was not even repaired! We followed up with Katie again in November 2016 and March 2017 to find out when they would be dealing with these issues. As of today, we have not received a reply. This company does not stand by its two year warranty and has terrible customer service. It has been one year since our driveway and four of our neighbor’s driveways were paved and all four look terrible. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone in the future.
