A certain Mark from Selective Movers was my contact when I looked up a moving company that will get my stuff from Calgary to Montreal. Movers arrived at past 10pm on April 1, 2017 which was supposedly done in the morning as requested. I was told delivery will be from 7-12 days. My stuffs arrived only on April 26, 2017 delivered by Blue Ocean Moving and Storage with a few missing boxes and 2 stuffs that were not mine. I have called to inform them of this but was told to just send an email. Until now, 10 days later, I have not received a reply yet. I just hope I get my stuffs back.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?

Good afternoon Maria. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the outcome of your move with us. I understand that the movers were late in doing your pickup, but they had experienced a major delay at one of the deliveries earlier in the day that resulted in the lateness of your pickup, and everyone else's that day. With regards to the time frame, I know that the time frames given for delivery of 7-10 days is from date of departure, not date of pickup and your goods were shipped out on April 14/17, arriving here within the given time period, and once here, you were contacted almost immediately to arrange delivery.
We received your claims email on May 5/17, last Friday. Claims is in on a part time basis only, and have had approximately 2 days this week to respond. I will message them to contact you ASAP with regards to your concerns.
