5/10

Their service is just okay and I would not use them again. I found great cleaning partner (Elizabeth) through Handy and would pay her the extra $20 for the same amount of time, and she gets more done with more professionalism. When I called to book my appointment after purchasing a voucher through LivingSocial, they were very responsive and called back, which was much appreciated. They also fit me in for a Friday cleaning when I called on Tuesday due to a cancelation, so that was great too. They also clarified that a 3-hour cleaning meant two ladies at 1.5 hours total. This was news to me and I tend not to like this option because it never results in a thorough cleaning (in my experience only) and I was proved right again. They could do with some more professionalism as I found dealing with their staff somewhat unpleasant. When confirming location details, the coordinator on the phone (Lynn) asked me about parking and I responded that there was free visitor parking in the bldg which was first-come first-serve and paid parking on the street in case the visitor parking was full. I was just trying to give her all the options. The coordinator on the phone audibly scoffed at me and said "you don't expect us to pay for parking do you? you'll have to pay". I respect that concept, but who speaks like that to a customer? I said that yes if visitor parking was unavailable then that was fine. Today when the cleaning staff showed up, they called in advance to confirm the parking details again and I explained in detail where the garage access was, and to let the concierge know they were there for cleaning so that they could go to visitor parking. When the staff actually showed up at my door, one of the two ladies spent the first 5 minutes grumbling about how they missed the garage entrance and ended up parking on the street and that she was expecting "someone to meet me downstairs for this". Like it was my fault they didn't take the side street to the parking garage when I specifically mentioned where it was located. The two ladies just left my apartment (two bed two bath - 1150 sq feet) and as I look around I see that the main bathroom floor still has debris on it, the living room floor is still dusty (there is construction in the area), and they didn't even get to the second bedroom as they didn't have enough time. I've used other cleaning services and they've been able to do a bang up job in 3 hours so I am not impressed. Oh well, I'll go back to my other cleaning service. Was hoping to have started using them because of their quick bookings but the quality is just not good enough.
