My wife and I had been in the market for new hardwood floors, and stairs for months. We had visited multiple hardwood retailers, had a few in home quotes, went back and forth on species (from Red Oak, to Maple, to White Ash), board width, finish, etc. We met with Roy relatively early on in our search, and we felt very comfortable with his recommendations and input. Roy patiently worked with us as we kept changing our minds. Hardwood flooring can be a pretty big investment, and we wanted to ensure we were confident with our choices. Roy was able to provide input on what the finished product would look like (contrasted against our wall colours), proper board width for our house, and all the other details that make an installation look beautiful. The installation was completed on time, with care, and with no hiccups. Roy was in touch with us throughout the installation process, and followed up afterwards to ensure we were satisfied. We are very happy with the end result. We ended up doing the entire home except for the bathrooms, kitchen, and basement. We feel that the input from Roy really pointed us in the right direction. Our Wire Brushed, Ash floors (Shadow stain) floors and stairs look amazing and have transformed our home.
