I have worked with Seth on a number of projects over the years (most recently, a complete renovation of our 1922 home), and consider myself lucky to have found a contractor who is so trustworthy, skilled, and collaborative. Seth goes beyond the role of a traditional contractor; he actively listens to what his clients are seeking and gives careful thought to every element of the project – from design, to materials, to sub-contractors, to the finished product – and develops a plan to bring it all together. Seth offered us several ideas which improved our initial design, and when challenges arose (as they often will in projects of this magnitude), he worked with us to find solutions that would enable us to achieve our vision without breaking the bank. Seth also hired a variety of sub-contractors (e.g., drywallers, electricians, plumbers) all of whom were friendly, professional, and highly skilled. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product. For large projects I always seek more than one quote and have always found Seth’s prices to be extremely competitive. He also stands behind his work and has never charged us for anything that we didn’t previously agree on. I would gladly work with Seth again and give him my highest recommendation.
