I always purchased Sears appliances and extended warranty. Sears service USED TO be great, but now it's the worst. I am trying to get my treadmill fixed (under extended warranty) for the last seven months, they keep telling me this part is on back order or that part is on back order but it's still not fixed. At one time a tech came with three parts but he was missing two, he took the three parts back and then they lost those parts in the warehouse. It took three weeks to fix my fridge in the summer. It took only three weeks because I complained and they squeezed my appointment in, otherwise they were going to come to asses the fridge in four weeks. Sears brand has no value in Canada anymore, I will never buy anything from them again. I shopped at Sears because of their service, not because I could not buy that stuff somewhere else.
