I hated coming home and looking at my ugly, leaky old roof/shingles. After obtaining a range of quotes, from one-truck operations to large contracting companies, I was getting quite frantic at the thought of hiring any of them because they all seemed like they didn't really know much about roofing. Then I found Dave at United Roofing. He came out with a quote within days. It had to be revised as we have a fairly steep pitch which hadn't shown up on the satellite photos he had used to determine the oringinal quote. He was back the next day with the revised quote. Brendan and I talked to Dave about the roof and some of our concerns/needs and let him know we would discuss our options and get back to him soon. We called him 10 mins later and asked if he could come back to sign the contract :) We were comfortable with Dave right from the start, he was knowledgeable about the work that was being considered and he assured us that his crews were well trained and supervised by both him and his brother. About 2 weeks later material was dropped on the roof and the crew showed up a few days later. I was amazed at the speed at which my old shingles came off and the new ones went on. The surface area of the roofs is pretty large and they stripped and reshingled both within a day and a half. I no longer hate coming home. My roof looks beyond amazing!
