They've been very easy to deal with on any and all changes which we have encountered during the building of our home. WE LOVE OUR HOME!!!! we would happily recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing from this developer.
Installed 28 vinyl windows, 1 front door
We spent a lot of research time and asked a lot of questions. Went on Home Depot faith that installation will be excellent. On-site, became apparent that Can-West did not understand vinyl window technology or have the appropriate skills to install properly (according to manufacturer's instructions). They left the job with two large windows "attached" with only several screws …an oversight we were told. Second time around, after pow-wow with Home Depot outsource company, Can-West remediated. However, shimming/shifting frames was a poor substitute for doing it right the first time …we accepted completion out of frustration, we realize that Can-West does not have the skills or the desire to upgrade their work practices. We do not recommend Can-West for window installation. If you purchase through Home Depot, insist on another installer.
