As a recent widow and a new resident of Port Hope, it has been very comfortable to be able to shop at such a cordial and pleasant shop. I'm not normally very familiar with hardware stores, per se, since it was my husband who traditionally attended to those sort of things, but the staff both male and female at this particular Home Hardware are friendly and cooperative and never make me feel like a dumb female. They are understanding and very helpful and the name Home really does apply in this case because that's what it feels like.
