Please consider this before signing with this company: I thought that I signed a one year contract with this company last year. When I received a service bill of $85 in April of this year for the current year, I called them immediately. I was advised that in miniscule print, the contract renewed automatically forever, unless cancelled by me. I asked them to cancel the contract and they said that they would. They did not return in May or June, so I assumed that the contract was cancelled. However, today I received a bill for $400. Even if any of you readers now know to cross out the clause, I believe that it speaks volumes as to their business practices. The reason that I did not renew with them was because as they do not provide seed or topsoil services, the lawn was not improved. Their herbicide they used did not work, and the fertilizer just made the weeds grow stronger. On at least one occasion, I was left a notice that services had just been provided, but I didn't see anyone in the backyard, although I was home.
