Initially things started out well. Wayne quickly gave a quote and scheduled for install. When the crew arrived to install the fence they had everything completed very quickly(fully installed while I was at work for the day) but the reason became clear when neighbors mentioned not seeing concrete being poured in all holes. We dug up one post to find it had no concrete in the hole. We were told the fence was fine and it was stressed not to expose any more posts. Initially he only wanted to fix the exposed posts and said all others were fine, which was not the case. We later discovered that the whole backside of our fence(as well as my neighbor's), excluding 2 corner terminals, was without concrete. Many of the posts on the sides either had no concrete at all or only had approx half the stated amount with poor distribution around the post hole. The process to get the fence fixed was very drawn out and took a long time to resolve but in the end Wayne reluctantly agreed to fix the entire fence. Hard to tell if he was aware that one of his crews was not using concrete on all posts or if they were doing it on their own. It was very disappointing to see how easy the majority of the posts were removed from the ground during re-installation. It's a shame that Abacus Fencing tried to take advantage of no homeowner being around and used the "crooked" approach on the initial installation by cutting corners in the process. Major headache. Note:Approx cost is for the initial estimate but due to issues it was adjusted.

Approximate cost of services:
$3,250.00
