I hired THIP for a complete kitchen renovation. Demolition and initial prep work was done quickly. The tradesmen were professional and completed their work on time. Unfortunately the upper cupboards were not measured properly and so they had to be replaced. Asina Cabinets to their credit did eventually replace the upper cabinets and installed the rest of the cabinets well. My real complaint was with the counter installation (Asina). As this was a condo and there are restrictions on height we needed to make a cut in the granite. The installers had planned a very obvious and ugly cut so I had to let Douglas the project manager intervene to ensure it was done correctly. After his intervention and some back and forth we finally agreed on the cuts. The initial install was done very poorly however so we had to call them back twice to fix the flaws and even out the finish. This caused quite a bit of stress as I had selected an expensive piece of granite. In the end, it all came together. Thanks to Douglas for his invaluable skills and help. He helped this project get completed properly and to my complete satisfaction. I would recommend The Home Improvement Group. Ask about the subcontractors they will be using and vet them as well.
