We hired Mike of Youville Bathroom in January 2014 to remodel our basement, main hallway bathroom and ensuite. The approximate cost of service of $5500.00 is for the main hallway bathroom and does not include materials for the project. SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work included removing everything (tub, tile surround, vinyl flooring, toilet, vanity, fluorescent lights) and replacing it all with new material. Mike installed new tile floors and tile baseboards, a tub with wall tile and a tile recessed shelf, a new vanity, a bulkhead above the vanity with recessed pot lights, a toilet, a fan/light combo, all the regular bathroom accessories and also painted. PROFESSIONALISM: We ultimately chose to hire Mike because of his down to earth communication style. Mike was very punctual and always showed up when expected. He communicated very openly with us throughout the entire process. We felt very at ease having him work in our home. TIMELINESS: The project took a few days longer than initially estimated (just over two weeks versus the estimated 1.5 weeks) but this did not impact our overall satisfaction with the bathroom outcome. FOLLOW UP: Mike was quick to follow up with a couple of small issues: a) he eliminated a "squeak" we heard when walking by the tub b) he identified the source of and immediately fixed a minor water drip that we discovered after a couple of days of using the bathroom
