We were looking to open up our kitchen and dining room. Mark and Bill were very helpful in the design stage and Bill suggested leaving a frame to still add visual interest to the open space. It was a great idea and made it look bigger rather than smaller. It was a total kitchen gut, switched the entrance to the basement, took out a wall, added a railing to the new opening to the basement. The Renovation was done on time and on budget. The few added costs were resulted from changes we made during the Reno like open the back window up wider and adding a new dining room window,many some extra electrical work needed to upgrade our older mixed wiring. Marks crew, especially John were great to work with and made us feel comfortable leaving the house in their hands. One of the most impressive parts of the renovation was the carpentry work. Marks guys milled wood on site to have it match with our almost 90 year old woodwork in the rest of the house and his painter Tony matched the stain so that it looks original. We have recommended Total Renovations to friends.
