My in-laws give us a very kind gift of a house cleaning before we had a large party. We had requested a 3 and a half hour full clean at a whopping rate of nearly $400. We do not have a large house nor a difficult house to clean, by any means. However, upon inspection of the house after the cleaners had left, it was found that none of the major things had even been touched. Floors were not swept or washed and edges of the carpet leading from the kitchen into the living room remained un vaccuumed. When I phoned the manager, Derek, to inquire as to what happened his "investigation" into the matter led to him completely siding with the cleaners and saying that they did clean those areas (even though I had proof that they did not) and saying that there was nothing he was willing to do to rectify the situation. They happily took the money from senior citizens, even though the house was not fully cleaned. Also, because I was not a regular client, he had no intention of getting cleaners to return and clean what they said they had nor was he willing to reimburse any money to my in-laws. Shameful!
