In July National Star Roofing Specialists completed re-roofing the asphalt shingles for my Calgary home. The surface area was around 2600 sq.ft. They removed the old shingles, replaced few sheets of rotten plywood, replaced ice-and-snow edges, and laid down the new shingles. They used Owens Corning AR laminate shingles. On the first day there were four guys on the roof. The other day - from two to four. On the last day they worked till 9 PM to finish the job. They cleaned up the work site every night. They worked hard and did a very good job. They are very friendly and very proud of their job. I’d recommend them to anyone for this kind of jobs.

Thank you Sergei for appreciating our work. Your project took us twice the time it normally should take. A we explained to you during the job, the reason why there was rotten wood was due to there being two dead spots on the roof over the garage where snow and ice was sitting for all the winter months. Our solution to the issue was to install a four layer torch on flat roofing system on those areas which is the only long term fix considering Calgary's weather. We did that along with replacing the rotten wood at no extra charge, while we could have done what the majority of other companies would have done, installing shingles and hoping it will last the 10 year labour warranty without leaking. But that is what tells us apart from anyone else in the industry. The National Star vision is to be in business for decades to come and be exactly what the name states.
