BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT HIRE!! We hired Strong Base to install a pool and interlock around our pool. They seemed to be great at the beginninguntil you give them your money everything changes. We signed our contact and they asked for a cash deposit which we gave them. They then tell us they didnt account for an additional retaining wall and needed to charge us an additional money (which we DID NOT agree to). They will keep emailing an updated invoice even if you DO NOT agree to the additional amounts. They also claimed to have installed 6 Sono tubes but only installed 2 and again charging us an additional money. They would not let us hire our own electrician, they never let us know how much it would cost just kept telling us dont worry its within your budget then added the amount to our contract and again we DID NOT agree to that amount. The owner stated that we asked the electrician to add something which is why it was so much, we DID NOT add anything, his workers cut the wire to short and the electrician had to add a box to connect the wire and we had to pay for their error. With all of their extras that we did not agree to our balance should have been six hundred dollars if we did agree to the extras and the owner kept asking for an additional eight thousand dollars. Needless to say, Strong Base DID NOT finish the job and we had to pay out of pocket for all of their mistakes. We asked them to fix the interlock they installed and they refused and said they will not be fixing it again when they are the ones that installed in incorrectly. They removed our interlock around our hot tub which we told them NOT TO and made a ramp instead of reinstalling it the same way it was prior to them removing it. They destroyed our front and our neighbours, our hot tub, our basement window and our neighbours down spout and would not take responsibility and replace it. They damaged our driveway, installed broken pool lights, a broken waterfall and intentionally left out the main part to start the pool the Omni Touch screen. Their electrician kept telling us we would never be able to start the pool and we would have to call the owner. This company did more damage than good. We have pictures and videos of the entire time the work was being performed and NOT ONCE did the owner come to see the work being performed AFTER he received the money. I will NEVER recommend this company to my worst enemy, they are a nightmare to deal with. I have been asked numerous times if I would recommend them to install a pool and NO I would NOT! Find a reputable company these guys have NO CLUE what they are doing. Thankfully we found great people to help us repair the damage that they caused.
