My experience with this didn't go as I hoped. The final product still looks unprofessionally done and not to my taste. The crew also left quite a mess afterwards, including, extremely dusty floors, caulking on two windows, stickers were left on windows and I picked up cig butts off the driveway. The photos below depict the results after the initial installation day -Damages done during installation -White showing on the exterior sashes and screens and white plastic pull tabs on screens -caulking issues, messy in some areas around windows, uneven and messy around the front door and step below, weeping caps covered with caulking -White showing on exterior joints/seems and blemishes on windows -Misaligned handle/lock on front door, interior and exterior -One slider sticks, doesn't move freely as others do -Wider window capping than requested..Interior and exterior -Locks on sliders lock in different directions, I thought that was odd The company replaced the sashes and screens with new ones that were painted black out, they had the caulking removed from the weeping caps and repaired on that section of windows, the put touch up paint on the white joints/seems and blemishes, they had the alignment issues on the front door lock/handle issues addressed, they attempted to fix the slider issue but it still exists. I was told to wait for time to pass and with use, the issue would resolve itself The caulking issues on window caps and front door were not resolved, Vitaly (service manager) attempted to remove the caulking on one side of the front door and the paint came off with it ( I had my house painted in April) He said he couldn't repair any remaining caulking issues because the same thing would happen but he did ask me if I wanted him to do it. I said no, I didn't feel good about looking at the turquoise blue colour that I just had covered with paint showing around the windows and door. Evidently, it's my responsibility to hire someone to repair the remaining caulking issues and touch up the paint. I requested a thinner cap on the interior and exterior windows, the contract states to use what's already there if possible but the actual size of width was not documented unfortunately and this was used against me when I disputed the issue with both Vitaly when he came (twice) and Diana (office manager) I was told that step casing (interior windows) doesn't come in 3" and so they used the size available. I didn't know that, nor did I choose step casing. Albina wrote it on the contract. I also disputed the exterior capping size, the width of capping used (3 1/2 inches) plus thick caulking is not the look I had in mind. When Demetri put the first cap on one of the sliders, I asked him not to use that width of capping. He said it was a necessity because he was covering older pieces of window frame and dismissed my request. The installers put 3 1/2 inch capping on every single window...INSIDE AND OUT. My preference noted on the contract was completely dismissed and after the fact, I was told by the service manager that I should have explained my future exterior Reno plans to the installer to avoid getting a wider cap on my windows I will gladly give credit where it is due, but my overall experience was very stressful and the final product is not what I hoped for
