If there was a way to give negative stars they'd would get the maximum negative. Absolutely ridiculous valuation, barely the lot value. This cost us financing on our mortgage as their valuation was way lower than the actual valuation and was confirmed by another appraisal firm who actual has knowledge of my local area and market. Their appraiser Bryce did a poor job, took no measurements and compared the property to one's that were not comparable, confirmed by another appraisal firm. If you need a below market valuation use them. If you need a correct market valuation based on facts use anybody else. There are some subjective areas of an appraisal of course but looking at the recurring trend in their Google reviews clearly shows they don't know or are purposely under valuing peoples homes. This is just pure negligence and this firm should not be on any financing company or banks list of approved appraisers. If your lender is sending Berk I would refuse. We called to discuss our concerns, received no calls back after 2 weeks and speaking to someone there who said we would receive a call back. We finally had to call Bryce on his cell, the number he called to book the appointment from and caught him unawares. No reasonable resolution was offered. If you have been negatively impacted by this firm and it's appraisers I would recommend filing a formal complaint with the AIC.
