We can not recommend Kaza Contracting enough. We undertook a major renovation mid-COVID of a 130 year old home. There was a lot to contend with during the process - supply shortages, rising prices, and and by the time we got to Fabio and his team, we were on our third contractor. Fabio came in late in the game, to a total disaster caused by our last contractor, who left us living in a construction zone with no end in sight. From the moment I met Fabio and his team, I finally felt at ease. It was extremely apparent from the start that they actually CARE, which was such a relief. Fabio walked in to a half-finished project, and wasted no time cross-referencing what was done with the plans, identifying errors, and even finding areas for improvement on completed parts of the project. He was meticulous, paid close attention to detail, and made sure he knew exactly what needed to be done before he formulated an organized plan to make it happen. He worked quickly, sent us reliable and hardworking tradespeople, and checked in at the beginning and end of each day to make sure everything was going to plan. He was on our job site constantly to make sure he was pleased with the quality of work done, and was never afraid to get in there and do things himself if needed. Fabio and the team at Kaza Contracting are people with integrity who care about their work product and recognize how personal it is to allow someone into your life and your home. In the world of construction and renovations, there's nothing more important than this. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend, or to hire them again in the future.

We hired Stan to do a large renovation of our home. 1) The project remained only about halfway complete on the original completion date. Despite Stan specifically telling us when to move in by, and us providing an additional month as a buffer, the home was still very incomplete (no kitchen, no kitchen sink, no main bathroom) when we moved in. 2) The plans our designer had put together weren't being followed. Design elements were changed without talking to us about it, and we had to go back and re-do what was already done more than once. 3) Ultimately, when confronted about the errors made, Stan quit mid-job. We were left scrambling, taking time off work to manage our own home renovation until we could hire someone else to finish it. Overall, our experience with Stan was very poor. We would not recommend him.
