This happened couple years ago. Called Mr. Cho Wa Sze, had him do an assessment on the roof. He was the cheapest roofer we could find. Most of them charged over what we paid $7000. I would say the other guys charged over $10,000. If i remember correctly. He came right away and got the work done within 1 week which was awfully fast. Its like we called signed the contract next day he got his machinery to put the materials all on the roof and work was commenced right away with 4 people doing it. luckly remembered it was quite sunny. 1 month later, it rained there was a small leak. Called him up and he showed up and fixed, took about 1 month later before we could get his guys over to take a look and to fix it. He gave us a warrantee of 10 years. 2 years down the road, we suddenly had a serious leak 4 places. We took out the invoice/contract called him up. He didn't sound friendly at all. We had to call 4 times and each time, we argued within regarding the warrantee and 3 times he hanged up on us. the 4th time we called, he said he will come by to take a look. he showed up and explained to us that there is nothing with our roof and or his workmanship. Water is coming from the exhausted pipes where rain got in.. We told him that was impossible it was so much water that leaked though that every 2 hours we had to pour it out. as if we didn't have a roof. He just walked away and ignored us. We called him up again and he said if we don't trust his workmanship get someone to check on it. We don't know a lot of roofers. At the end of the day we learned our lessons. Don't cheap out on roof. We were surprised why no one wrote any complaints on him.
