We contracted with Chris from Hardscape Interlocking in the spring of 2021 to rebuild our front steps and run stones down the side of our driveway. Chris was very personable and ensured us that they were qualified to do the work. We had contracted with another provider to pave the driveway when Chris was finished with his work. There were many problems with the work done by Chris and the Hardscape Interlocking team. It was obvious that they were not qualified for the work. 1. Proper preparation for the steps was not done. Sections of the landing have collapsed. 2. The steps are not level and are rocking when walked on. 3. Lower landing is not on level with the garage sill. This is required for pavement to be level. 4. Driveway side steps were not laid properly. It appears that they just followed the contour of the ground rather than leveling it properly. When contacted, Chris assured me that he would return and fix the issues. He has not returned. Multiple promises were made about when he would return. None were kept. Please beware of dealing with this organization
