We were new to the whole bidding game when looking for electrical contractors for our new construction. When we spoke with the owner and gave him the synpopsis of what we wanted his reply was "I'll give you rock bottom pricing". What we didn't know we'd have to endure, slow work and his employees talking "down" to us because we couldn't afford, therefore weren't using, top of the line fixtures. We could hear the workers making fun of us as they worked in the basement and we were upstairs. Lastly, he ended up charging us 1200 more than the original agreed upon price due to "unforseen layout problems". We just wanted to be done with the whole awful situation so we just payed.
