If you are planning to join Direct Buy please do yourself a big favour and stay far away from this FRAUD COMPANY. Unlike the other customers claim that they have all brands and products, the reality is that they only carry a limited number of suppliers and very few products. Most of the time these items are so expensive and you could find similar products from brand name companies cheaper in regular retail stores. I have joined Direct Buy (at that time they were UCC Total Home and after couple of months, they changed their name to Direct Buy) and spent $3000 as membership fees. I tried to buy several items from them. Items such as: Sharp Aquos 42" LCD TV (which was the highest sized LCD at the time) and checked with Direct Buy for their prices. To my shock, they told me that they don't carry this model/brand and there was no way I could get it through them. I tried to get couple of windows, entrance doors and other building materials from them. All they have is some manufacturers from Vaughan, ON and they wanted me to drive to the manufacturer's place to have a look at these models and Direct Buy did not even have those prices with them! Same with appliances such as barbeque, range etc. Don't trust these people for a moment and if you cannot believe my words then just do a google search about the review for this company. You will be surprised to see how many people are out there (both in US and in Canada) who want to sue this company and to file a class action lawsuit against them. So, please do yourself a big favor and keep your hard earned money in your pocket rather than being a victim of this fraud!
