We were impressed with the prices and selection. Upon delivery, our stove was backordered, our refrigerator damaged, and our washer/dryer improperly installed. After days of phone conversations with customer service, we were told that new appliance could be ordered to replace the ones delivered to our new home. Parts were ordered for the improperly installed washer/dryer, without inspecting them first. Appointments made were canceled by American's customer service via phone message, forcing us to contact them again later. Service is poor and frustration for the customer is inevitable when dealing with the repair and/or customer service department of this company (formerly Kennedy-Haan). Be safe - Do not shop American for appliances. In the Milwaukee area, [another company] is a sure bet!
