We ordered carpet to be installed in our victorian home and went with KC Carpet because they are local. That turned out to be a mistake. They subcontracted the installation and it was done horribly. Even the owner came out to see what the installers had done, but didn't think, that strips of our berber carpet simply "laid" behind our radiators was "unworkmanlike". Only after pressing the issue did the owner send out his best installer over several nights to fix the problems. We have no plans to ever use KC again, nor recommend their services. They may have good deals on the carpet, but the installation is where it really counts. Before you get any company to install, find out who will really do the installation.
