hired Dan in late May to put down landscape fabric and mulch over the forested part of my back yard which had weeds. He told me that when he called the mulch company for a quote on the mulch they told him landscape fabric wasn’t required. He put down the mulch with nothing underneath and within 5 days I had weeds coming through. I contacted him and even offered to pay an additional amount towards taking off the mulch, putting the fabric down and reapplying the mulch. It’s been a month with one email and two voice mails left and not a word back from him. I’ve simply asked him, “please call me so we can figure out how to address this” and no response. He’s the landscaper and should know whether landscape fabric is required. The other two companies who quoted me said it was and I’m feeling duped by going with his service and having him cut corners. Plus his staff drove their truck over the gas line without asking or telling me and dumped all the green waste into my ravine. Really not impressed! Photo is before (below) and after (above).
