SGW555 in Etobicoke

My parents hired this guy to do some work on their walkways. He took much longer than planned, charged them more than he quoted, and got annoyed when they didn't want to keep paying him under the table (they decided receipts were important given his reliability issues). And he's left tarps, concrete and debris at their home - which they are going to have to pay to remove. Most importantly, when they raised concerns about timelines and costs, he was unbelievably rude and condescending. AND they're nervous about leaving a poor review or calling the Better Business Bureau because they're concerned he'll retaliate in some way. Moral of the story? Do not hire this guy. He may seem like a good deal at the outset, but ultimately you'll pay just as much as you would for a much more reputable, and reliable, contractor.
