Julian was terrific to work with from the start. He brought good ideas for how best to re-do our front walkway and garden, and was able to recommend ways of creating the look we wanted without breaking the bank. He and his crew member worked long days every day to get the project done in a short amount of time. Now we just have to add some plants!

We did an extensive renovation project with 3 Stones that included fully gutting and rebuilding the basement and third floors and rebuilding our front porch. Chris and Bill always provided expertise and great advice as we went, which was especially helpful during the permitting process with the city. Of the three quotes we got at the beginning of our project, they actually came in the highest, and we were nervous about that, but in the long run we were reassured by their open-book budgeting process, which meant we knew exactly what we were spending, and on what. Remarkably, they came in slightly under budget, despite some scope changes along the way. Overall, it was a real pleasure working with Chris and Bill. They and their tradespeople were always efficient, courteous, and kept the place clean as they went. On top of that, they always showed up when they said they would. This was a real change from our previous renovation experiences! They brought a great depth of knowledge and imaginative solutions to their work with us. We can't recommend them highly enough.

Jack the Plumber was recommended to us by a friend as being "one of the last trustworthy tradespeople around". We have certainly had good experiences with him. He has diagnosed and fixed a few different plumbing problems in two different houses. The first job we had him do was a large one -- replacing the old drain out to the city line with a new one. We got competitive quotes and his was (by far) the lowest, and we were pleased with the results. He's always been very responsive when we call.

The guys from Viktoria were great. They showed up on time and were personable and very fast! there were some items that we didn't know how to pack properly, like lamps, that we just left to them, and they handled them pretty well. We did get a tear in one lampshade, but I don't think that's indicative of the overall service -- just bad luck.
