Jack of All Trees

I had 2 trees and a large cedar to remove as we are doing some landscaping in the backyard. Prior to doing the job I put the request to Homestars, and was contacted by 2 people expressing interest. After meeting both of them, I was impressed by Jack and his professionalism. Jack gave me a quote, in writing, outlining scope of work, the other guy just gave me a verbal price for the job so I had no hesitation going ahead with Jack of All Trees to do this job. I felt comfortable that he was highly trained, and very knowledgeable.

The work was scheduled and completed on time, and again, I was super impressed by the care in which the job was done, and judging by all the safety gear, I could tell that Jack and his team knew was very experienced. He showed up with a crew of 3 and all made quick work of this job. They were also kind enough to cut a bunch of discs off the tree for my daughter before they hauled them away.

Access to my yard posed a challenge for the stump grinder, as the first one he brought out was unable to fit through the opening to my back yard, so he had to come back another time. He kept me in the loop during the whole process, and did all the necessary due diligence obtaining locates from all the utilities prior to grinding, which was a huge relief. Never once did I have to chase him to ask when he would be back to do the job.

Men were polite and approachable. They cleared and cleaned up well. I was not completely happy about the finished job. More could have been pruned.

After 25 years, our backyard maple tree was beginning to spread its canopy too close to our roof. Jack showed up on time and did a great job getting all the leaves gathered and taken away. He trimmed the very long hedge and cut back all the overgrown vines and shrubs. He used fertilizer so I'm excited to see how it looks in the spring when all my tulips come up. ( they didn't bloom at all for last two years. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. One note. Next year I will wait for all the leaves to come down . I have a very big tree in my front yard.

I received one of Jack’s flyers and contacted him about an oak tree in my backyard as I wanted it pruned. Jack responded very quickly and was able to provide a quote within 24 hours. A rotten tree that was overhanging my neighbors property was causing safety concerns. The tree was precariously wedged between a fence and on a difficult angle. Jack and his team quickly and expertly dissected the tree piece by piece and made my problem go away! Jack and his team are a pleasure to work with. Total pros.
