John repainted our kitchen, facilitated retailing the backsplash and replaced all of the handles. The kitchen looks brand new, was finished just in time for the holidays and we have received so many compliments about it, including its professional finish. Our 10 year old deck needed to be restored. We needed to replace rotting boards as well as re-stain the verticals and steps. Our deck is quite large and needed a lot of work. John made sure that we were happy with the finished product. He even came back to re stain after he was paid for the project because he was not happy with the outcome of how the stain took. John at Empyrean took great care to restore our 2 year old deck after another contractor ruined it by not mixing the sealant can before applying. He provided an accurate and timely quote, showed up on time and tackled the challenge of having to remove the stain which was a tough job to say the least. He had samples to represent different stains on different woods which was helpful too. He reapplied sealant, did a professional job and had a good helpful attitude. Thank you for saving our deck !

We selected John as our painting contractor based on availability, timeline and knowledge. He did his utmost to meet our timelines and expectations. Our job involved a relatively small space, but included a complicated stucco ceiling which turned out to be a bigger job than anticipated, but John ensured it was done thoroughly. He also worked around our flooring contractor, returning to finish off our trim and put an additional coat on the wall by stairs.
