Over ten years ago we hired a handyman to replace our shower fixture and restore the wall that had leaked through and grew mold. Unfortunately, the wall lasted only about six months due to the wrong material used as the replacement. We covered it with a plastic garbage bag, expecting to fix the shower again sometime in the future.

Early this year, the shower valve corroded and the handle broke off. We could only open the shower valve with a pair of pliers. This made showering every day really inconvenient.

At a public event in March, I met Jon and his family. During our conversation I learned he operated a full-service renovation company and offered to visit us later that week to inspect the area and propose a solution.

Jon gave us a decent quote that included a shower replacement, wall restoration with the proper denshield wall backing, and a professional tile job by Amir. Within two weeks of starting (around stat holidays) we were blessed with the most amazing shower and tile installation, including the addition of grab bars that we decided late in the project that we needed.

Amir's suggestion for the quartz stone material to replace the windowsill and frame really enhances the texture of the tile pattern.

During the project, Jon also helped us solve other assorted plumbing issues around our home. He is so thoughtful and considerate and worked with us to find solutions that met our needs.

We are so grateful for Jon and Amir. We would gladly hire them for future renovation and creative work.

This ended up being above the original quote, but there were mitigating circumstances. I selected Paradigm based on my initial interaction with Jon. I had received a number of replies to my service order, but it was Jon who contacted me directly to speak with me and gave me a breakdown of what he'd charge and what he thought it would take.

While it wasn't Jon who came the worker was conscientious and efficient. When he came upon an issue that would take more time than expected to install the new faucet he let me know right away. This involved having to cut out some of the under cabinet to be able to enable the bracket and hoses to be fitted. He must have called Jon to let him know there was an issue as I received a call from Jon to let me know as well that it was going to go over the expected time frame.

When he was done everything was cleaned up and the old faucet was taken away. There was an issue I discovered after the install and Jon came back and personally and ensured everything was done to my satisfaction.

Jon is a great and compassionate plumber. Not only is he knowledgeable but he also gives his best honest opinion on the best course of action for the job. My hot water wasnt working all around the house so I called Jon to see what the problem is. He solved it and gave me his best opinion which was to change it since it was very very old. Project completed within the day with no additional problems. Thank you Jon for all your advise and hard work. Til next time.

I hired Paradign Service and Installations to remove and replace significantly discoloured grout and silicone in the bathroom and also replace a leaking button drain - communication was prompt and efficient, project was completed on budget and on time, I was pleased with the finished product and would hire Jon and Amir again!

Jon was very nice and professional. Even though he was all booked up till a few days later. He went out of his way to come after his last job to have a look at my leakage. (Because this is a nonstop leakage that is an emergency).If it's something he can do right away. He'll do it for me. If a big job and he doesn't have the supplies, he'll book me for another day. We were lucky and he was able to find the leakage and he has the supplies to fixed it right away for me. I would continue to use his
services from now on in the future.

We needed to replace our instant hot water heater that also supplies our hydronic heat. Jon submitted a comprehensive and fully optioned quote, clearly detailing pros and cons of each option. He clearly answered any questions we had and we quickly settled on an option and start date. He and his team arrived on time at the agreed start date and set to work, ensuring that areas that they were not working on were protected. The job was completed in three days. The crew took care to clean up the work site. Jon also took care of the gas permitting work with the city and was on-hand for the inspection. Paradigm warranties their labour for 1 year and stands by it; they recently replaced a failed pressure sensor for us, and it was fully covered. We couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by Jon, and the whole team at Paradigm.

I've used Paradigm twice over the past few months for separate issues (Leaky faucet and a boiler issue) for my house. Both times, I spoke with Jon who came to my place and solved the problems. Each time he was polite, on time, walked me through what the issues were, and answered my questions. He has made it very easy for Paradigm to me my go to solution for future issues with my home.

I found Jon to be very professional, efficient and very nice. Our
bathtubs are from the late 1960's and Jon said the parts for the faucets
might be hard to find but he found them and replaced them. He also
replaced our kitchen faucet. No more drippy faucets! The toilet seat
is also very nice, nicer than the one that was there before. Very
pleased with his work. If anyone needs a plumber, I will certainly
