I recently had Kovar Contracting tear down and rebuild my two-story porch, and I love the results.

From the start, owner Jason impressed me with his professionalism and friendliness. He was upfront and communicative throughout the project, keeping me informed of any challenges that come with having an older house. He provided options, detailing costing and the pros and cons of each choice.

The crew at Kovar were friendly and great to work with. They were diligent, thorough, and meticulous. Their precision drew compliments from people walking by!

The project took longer than initially estimated, but some of that was due to winter weather and material delays. However, I know delays happen in any project.

Overall, I highly recommend Kovar Contracting. They delivered a beautiful, high-quality porch despite unforeseen challenges, and their communication and professionalism were top-notch.

The Kovar team was very easy to work with, polite and professional from start to finish. Showed up on time as scheduled to our Barrhaven home, with advanced notice and got right to work. We had such a hard time getting quotes for the work we wanted done. Business's would show up, but never give us the quote. We had another company come to quote for Insulation and they told us to give Kovar a try. But no guarantees as they are super busy. I crossed my fingers and sent the email. It has been a no hassle process since. We finally had the work done and our home looks like new. There were never eavestrough on the home and the foundation was suffering. Alex was super sweet and knowledgeable. Never acted like we were asking dumb questions and Jason has been a dream to work with. We have since booked Kovar for another couple of jobs one on a recommendation from Alex and another for HVAC which we needed to replace. Would highly recommend for any project.

Every aspect of the project starting with Kyle providing a detailed estimate trough to Kyle and Jason performing the installation was a breeze. They took the time to understand what I wanted, they were flexible to accommodate my schedule and they did a great job.

The installation went without a hitch and came in under budget!

I hired Kovar to replace the soffit, fascia and eavestroughs on our house. The old soffits were blocked and needed opening up to allow for more ventilation in the attic. They did a great job of removing the old soffit and cutting away the plywood blocking the soffits and installing new. They did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Alex and his crew did a great job at a good price. I highly recommend them!

We needed new eavestroughs and Jason's crew aced it again. They arrived on time in the morning, quickly removed the old gutters, cleaned up all the debris and then installed shiny new ones, complete with covers.
It all took less than a day.
