My wife and I bought our house in 2015, and although we loved the location, we did not love the look of the interior of the house. A couple of years ago, we decided to renovate to modernize the interior and make it closer to what we envisioned as our dream home. From the initial meeting with Andrei to share with him what we wanted to be done to the very end when we were in awe of the finished project, we were impressed with the Sosna team. All the steps in the process were well organized and planned out. Expectations with the pricing and the timeline of the project were outlined prior to the start so there would be no surprises. Questions and concerns were addressed very quickly and to our satisfaction. During construction, every team member was pleasant to work with and the team was very accommodating to our needs. We were still able to live in the house with two adults, two kids, and a dog, despite most of the house undergoing major renovations. When the project was completed, we were impressed not only by the visual appeal, but also by the quality of the workmanship and materials used. Now, two years after the project was completed, we continue to enjoy our renovated home. Our home still looks very similar to when the renovations were first completed, which is a testament to the quality of the work. The few minor issues that have developed were promptly addressed by Andrei and his team. I would highly recommend Sosna for any home renovation, and would be happy to work with them again for any of my own future needs. We had been thinking about renovating our two upstairs bathrooms for a couple of years. After interviewing three different contractors and designers, we felt it was just not a right match. Our friends who had recently completed a renovation of their own having learned of our need of a good contractor highly recommended SOSNA Inc.
Our renovation is now complete and I can say that we are delighted! Team SOSNA came through. Their professionalism is unlike any I have seen from any contractors we have ever dealt with. Andrei walked us through the renovation from beginning to end ensuring that we were comfortable with the process and budget!
An additional benefit to SOSNA is that they have designers on staff. We worked with Olga to put together our dream bathrooms. Olga is not only endowed with talent but is extremely caring about her clients. She guided us through our design and spent time to ensure that we were satisfied with every choice we made.
Vitaly was there day to day and again a total pleasure to work with. He made sure that our property was protected during the renovation process, putting up plastic walls and runners to minimize dust and dirt to the rest of the home.
Roman was our Project Manager and he was there to ensure that the work was done right. He encouraged us to have weekly calls but also came by to inspect the work himself.
Contractors that care, show up each day and come on time! It is a great company with great people!

The Keiths

We hired Sosna to renovate our kitchen, bathrooms and to remove structural walls, paint, new electrical outlets and fixtures, and plumbing , remove popcorn ceilings etc.

They are a class act from start to finish. Their designer Olga is extremely talented and a pleasure to deal with. They protect your property from the renovation process as if it is their own putting up plastic walls and runners to limit the impact of the work on other parts of your home. The staff including Andrei Leo Jacob and the others not only know how to do their job great but are great people. Minor corrections are attended by the next business day.
The job is done right by a contractor who always shows up and the work product is magazine/ showroom quality. We will miss them like family/friends being in our home during the process.

Part of the protective seal on the new shower door had come away. Not an urgent issue, but I called the owner of the company who did the original renovation over a year before. Got a call right away from his installer, who arranged - in these difficult times (very busy for contractors too) - to do the repair at his earliest convenience. He went out of his way (geographically) to do a 15 minute job. Although the issue came to light outside of the warranty period, the work was gratis. Great people make a great company...and it starts at the top.

Once again Andrei and his SOSNA crew improved our house and our lives. They have created new rooms for us in the past, this time they repaired some faulty original construction, that has caused leaks in our kitchen ceiling over the past 25 years.

The obvious cause of a water stained kitchen ceiling would be a leak from outside. We have had our extended kitchen roof repaired three or four times - but every few years the water stains were back. Andrei’s keen eye suspected a different problem. First he had us hire a heat-escaping engineer/photographer who confirmed Andrei’s suspicion. The original builder had not insulated the metal beam that supported the second floor where our kitchen extension roof ends. This allowed the beam to get very cold in bad winters and cause condensation to drip onto our kitchen ceiling.

His polite and efficient crew came in one morning, covered the floor from the front door through to our kitchen and draped sheer plastic sheets along the working corridor. At night when the work was done for the day, we would lift and tape up the plastic sheets to make doorways to our kitchen cabinets and family room. The main floor looked a sultan’s tent.

One thing that was up in the air was whether or not we would have to paint the kitchen ceiling where the drywall was removed to install spray-in insulation foam, or if Leo, our congenial site foreman, could match the paint to the rest of the kitchen ceiling saving us from having to paint the whole of the main floor ceiling.

Leo matched it and Andrei happily lowered the estimate. How unusual for a contractor to lower costs after their work. But it is not surprising if you deal with an honest contractor like SOSNA.

We were introduced to Sonsa by a close friend, who had just finished his Toronto townhouse renovation. We had just bought a house in Mississauga that had the original floor-plan - completely separate living room, dining room, kitchen, and the smallest powder room ever built.

Our designer Anna was great to work with, as she has a similar aesthetic as us, and knew how to execute the bold and modern design elements we were looking for.

The most impressive and unique part of the renovation was how they reconfigured the front entry to make the power room larger. They switched the front door and the sidelight, and built the sidelight into the bathroom as a window, which almost doubled the square footage of the bathroom.

We're really happy with how everything turned out, and can't wait to have them back for future projects!

Sosna delivered on all fronts, project was done on time, the crew was great, kept the place as neat and tidy as can be. Anna, the designer was very helpful in guiding us on choosing the right design. Our 30 year old house has been given a modern updated transformation. Very happy with the end results.

After extensive research, I hired Sosna Inc to renovate my second floor bathrooms and walk-in closet. Due to the fact that I have a very tight timeline, I need to find a company who is not only excellent in workmanship, but also with a good track record of sticking to the schedules. Now that the project has completed, I am thrilled to say that Sosna Inc delivered everything that I have expected and more!

During the very first meeting with Andrei, I was impressed that he listened to our pain points and advised us to REALLY focus on what we actually need with the limited space we have.

During the design phase, our designer Olga really showed her commitment and dedication to making sure we have a functional layout, and that every inch of our limited space is made to good use. This is the first time that I have ever used a designer, and the modified layout is so clever that I could never thought about that myself. This alone is already worth every penny. Olga made numerous trips to my house to discuss all the plans and finishes down to the very last details, including the color of the grout, so we know there will be no surprise as everything is on the drawing.

Our project lead Victor is a gem. He is on site every day from 7:00 am. He is courteous, organized, and keeps the site clean before he leaves for the day. On rare occasion that he needed to be late, he always let me know in advance, so that I am prepared. I really appreciate it as this shows he really respect people's time. My family and I live in the house during the renovation, but we don't feel stressed, because firstly the dust is kept at minimal, secondly, we could see progress every day.

Roman the project manager came to my house every Thursday morning to check on the progress and to collect my feedback. All other trades used by Sosna are all very polite and very efficient.

Thanks to Sosna Inc, our family now have two beautiful bathrooms, and one roomy closet to enjoy for many years to come. Thank you Sosna Inc for making our dream come true!
