Clogged toilet

We had a problem with a clogged toilet. We had tried a bigger company before, but the price was quite high and the representative vague in his explanations to our inquiries. The problem returned, so we called Dave from Royal Flush. He came within the hour on a Sunday evening, and charged a reasonable price for a job well job. Dave was helpful and informative and we have recommended Royal Flush to our friends and family.

Faulty Toilet

I called Dave to fix a toiled that suddenly had poor flow. He said he was already at a job, but arrived within the hour to my house. He assessed the issue within 5 minutes and after evaluating all options, determined that I needed a new toilet (which I had suspected). His price was more than fair and included installation and disposal of the old toilet.
He had to go to Home Depot twice as the toilets originally purchased were lemons. He showed his integrity in that I never would have known there was an issue with the toilets purchased, but he took the initiative to do the job properly and ensure the toilet installed was in perfect condition.
I would highly recommend Dave to anyone!

Basement Bathroom Rough-in by Bulls in a China Shop

We contacted Dave for a basement 2 piece bathroom rough-in. He came in below the other three quotes we received and decided to go with Royal Flush as his suggestions were identicle to other contractors, he was knowlegable about his solutions, and offered great feedback to questions when asked.

The plumbing work which Royal FLush was hired for was great. he roughed in where needed and was very quick and accurate and even provided insight into a laundry sink I purchased and later returned. Dave and his co-worker installed a basement septic sump and sump pump which required heavy amounts of jackhammering due to an unforseen concrete block in the way. We expected debris but not to the extent we received after the first day.

The jackhammering was done under the basement stairs and approximately 6 feet from the furnace. The basement door was left ajar and our 1st floor family/dining room was covered in white dust from the conrete. Luckily I returned home from an errand only an hour after Dave began his excavating work and managed to cover our upholstered furniture to prevent the dust from settling into our couches. I asked him to close the door and drape plastic over the door up to reduce the amount of dust. It didnt really matter though. As I said the jackhammering was done 6 feet from the furnace which in turn spread the dust to EVERY ROOM IN THE HOUSE.

I knew this would be a dirty job but it would have been nice if Dave had forseen this, closed the basement door, turned off the furnace and provided any other way to keep the house tidy. Now to remedy the situation we need to have our furnace/ducts cleaned and rent a steam cleaner for carpet and upholstery (both which I just serviced December of last year). This along with all the hand washing, dusting and laundering of all bed blankets, dish towels, hand towels, placemats., hardwood floors... EVERYTHING... in the house needed to be cleaned and at cost to me and my time. If I would recommend Royal Flush to anyone else it would be to someone who has an unfinished home or a total gut job of a house - not much respect to the rest of the house.

He got the job done, but a 3 day cleanup for a 3.5 day job was unaccpetable.

Company Response

I'm very sorry about the dust and that this was your experience. At Royal flush we work extremely hard to ensure complete customer satisfaction. In this case, I was focused on fixing the issue. I had no idea about the dust getting upstairs. I would really like to resolve this situation with you, so please call me. Thanks, Dave May 416 420 2747

Clogged Kitchen Sink

Dave responded to an email request with straight forward answers and within 2 hours of us calling him back, was at our house on a Saturday morning. He took the time to carefully review the previously botched plumbing and made several options for us to choose from. He completely replaced our kitchen plumbing and the unclogged sink. He also cleared up some kitchen/shower drain issues we'd been having. He was courteous, friendly and honest, all the while a lot more reasonable in pricing. Definitely recommend.

replace kitchen faucet

I called a few places to look into my leaky kitchen faucet this morning. most places I called I got answering machines so I couldn't ask any questions. The others couldn't give me a ballpark estimate of how much a standard procedure like mine might cost.
When I called Dave he was nice, courteous and personable. He was also able to tell me how much my job should cost.
When he arrived on site he was able to asses the situation and stick to the amount he quoted. His work was quick, efficient and professional.
I would recommend Dave to anyone looking for quailty work without the runaround.

Bathroom plumbing rough-in

Dave did great work roughing-in plumbing for a three-piece bathroom I needed for a basement renovation. His work was very good, it was completed on time, and he was very polite and helpful along the way.

The best part about my experience was the follow-up care. We had a leak with a troublesome value, and Dave returned very promptly to fix the situation. He stood by his work and got the job done.

He met my high expectations of how a contractor should operate, and I'd definitely recommend him.
