The basement walls (3) had deteriorated badly from moisture. Since I had weeping tiles installed, I was comfortable repairing the damaged basement walls by Parging. Also, the house had a milk cubby and I wanted it removed with matching bricks in place.

Installers were knowledgeable ,polite ,and clean. They explained the process and did the job in a timely manner.

I was very satisfied with Turnbull Masonry. I had 2 major areas of concerns with stress cracks in the brick, and Turnbull was able to replace the brick and match the colour almost perfectly. I cannot tell where the work was completed! I will not hesitate to use and recommend them in the future.

We have an old house that needed parging and a fair amount of brickwork with tuckpointing.
They were friendly from initial contact through to the completion of the project.

About 60 bricks on our exterior walls were succumbing to the ravages of spalling--deterioration due to water damage/freeze-thawing. Some of these bricks were on corners that may have required the removal of a gate in one case and the porch railing in the other, and this was a matter of some concern for us. The work was done in one day, a day when we were out of town. When we returned, the spalled bricks had been replaced; the work area had been left as clean--if not cleaner--as when we had left that morning, and neither the gate nor the porch railing had to removed to get the work done. Not only would I recommend Turnbull to a friend, and would be be adamant that Turnbull do the masonry work required; to hire any other company would be at best to going with second-best.

They matched up the brick beautifully, and had scaffolding set up to secure an upper balcony that accomodating entrance into the building. They cleaned up the job very nicely. Quick and efficient. Great work.

Foundation wall had all the parging disintegrating and it needed to be removed and replaced.

We hired Turnbull a few years back to replace some bricks in our foundation for us and they did a fantastic job so we knew we wanted to hire them again for this job. They did beautiful work. The pathway and steps are just what we needed and they were a bit complicated to do because they’re in an awkward little corner along our property line. They came within a week of agreeing to do the work and finished in three days. If you want something done right, I would highly recommend Turnbull.

Best trades company I have dealt with! Efficient, courteous and professional. Ron (Turnbull) responded to my query immediately, and provided a quote the day after inspecting the site (as promised). He was then able to get a crew on the work within a few days of my approving the quote. The two men doing the work were efficient, respectful of the space, and took great care in ensuring the job was done well. Their quote came in a little higher than another company we contacted, but Turnbull inspired confidence and we found them to be well worth it. I can't recommend Turnbull highly enough.
